Grade 6-9 | Competition Focus: AMC 8 (Honor Roll) / AMC 10
This course builds the geometry fundamentals that AMC 8 Honor Roll-level and AMC 10 problems rely on. Students work through angles, triangle similarity and congruence, complicated area problems, mastering the triangle, special quadrilaterals, polygons, and the art of angle chasing - developing the visual and logical reasoning geometry competition problems demand.
What students will develop
- Fluency identifying and applying triangle similarity and congruence
- Ability to solve complex, multi-step area problems
- Mastery of angle-chasing techniques across polygons and quadrilaterals
- A strong geometric foundation for AMC 8 Honor Roll-level and AMC 10 problems
