This course builds a precise, working command of English grammar that supports both writing and standardized test performance. Students study parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation, and common usage errors, then apply these rules directly to their own writing rather than treating grammar as an isolated worksheet exercise. Emphasis is placed on recognizing why a rule applies, not just memorizing it, so students can self-correct in their own work going forward.
