This course builds the careful, multi-step reasoning MOEMS is known for - moving students beyond single-step calculations into structured, logical problem-solving. Students practice breaking down complex word problems, testing strategies, and working through solutions with precision, using real MOEMS-style problem sets.
What students will develop
- Multi-step logical reasoning and problem-breakdown skills
- Precision and accuracy under competition conditions
- A strong, recognized result to showcase to their school math teacher
- Readiness to compete for a spot on their school's MOEMS team
Format: Small-group instruction with guided practice, building toward the annual MOEMS contest through AAA - an official MOEMS institute team.
